The Great American Tag Sale With Martha Stewart

Meet Frank Kaminski

Kaminski Auctions has been in business for over 40 years.  Frank Kaminski started in the 1980s with his first shop on Main Street in Stoneham, Massachusetts.  His business and clientele grew working with companies like Brooks Brothers and Abercrombie and Fitch and a landmark estate auction on site for Mayor James Michael Curley, the former mayor of Boston, which drew enthusiastic crowds. In the early ’90s, an 1855 barn and colonial home at Cabot Street in Beverly became the company headquarters. In 2009 with the company growing by leaps and bounds a new auction gallery and offices were built at 117 Elliott Street in Beverly, Massachusetts. Kaminski Auctions now boasts two new galleries on Antiques Row on the Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach, Florida.

In recent years Kaminski Auctions has held prestigious auctions for Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, and most recently the iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel, NYC, and the estate of Mrs. Henry Ford II.

I just had a very excellent experience working with Mary Westcott of Kaminsky on the Osprey Sculpture Appraisal. She’s a pro with excellent credentials. Very thorough.

I want to send each of you a great big THANK YOU for your hard work and determined efforts to make “The Great American Tag Sale” a resounding success. In the course of a few short weeks we installed 8 tents, assessed and cleaned and moved and priced thousands of wares.

We admitted nearly 2,000 shoppers, rang up 6,102 transactions, and recorded more than 50 hours of video coverage. The customers were happy with the purchases and also with your warm hospitality. Each of you brought expertise and professionalism to this project; it showed in the prep, and during the event, and I am sure it will make for a great television show as well!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased, and pleasantly surprised, I was with the results of the sale of the 2 Indian/Persian prints. They really got someone's attention. As you know, I have dealt with all the high end auction houses over the years and the results I have gotten from Kaminski are just as impressive.

Kaminski Auction House is my go to source for home furnishing. I’m a huge fan of this place! One can count on that the quality of the items being offered up are fine and come from amazing homes and estates! From the many beautiful antique pieces of furniture, custom draperies, incredible dinnerware, fine artwork, to garden statuary, antique case clocks and vintage European chandeliers that now decorate our home. Kaminski’s offerings are the best, both in value and quality. Buy without hesitation!

We at Kaminski Auctions are saddened to hear the news of, former First Lady, Rosalynn Carter’s passing.

She was a remarkable woman, embodying grace and resilience. Her dedication to mental health advocacy and humanitarian efforts has left an indelible mark. It was an honor of ours to have known her and to have borne witness to the positive impact she made in the world. May her legacy inspire others to continue her work.

Our heartfelt condolences to President Carter, her beloved husband of 77 years, and their family and friends.
