A native of Rockport, Massachusetts, born June 9, 1968, Ken Knowles is a veteran painter of traditional american impressionism in New England. His sucess has allowed him to stay in this beautiful seaside art colony, where he continues to live with his wife and son. Ken's works are part of countless private, and several corporate collections across the country and abroad. Mr. Knowles has shown in many national exhibitions and has an award winning reputation. Ken's paintings can be found in galleries from Bar Harbor, Maine to Atlanta, Georgia. Ken Knowles enjoys teaching workshops occaisionally, and is an informative demonstrator. He says he credits much of his skills to some of Cape Ann's finest artists, with whom he has worked closely with for twenty years. Ken is a member of the Rockport Art Association, as well as the Academic Artists, and Hudson Valley Art associations. He is a true American impressionist.
