Elegant model of J.P. Morgan’s private steam yacht “Corsair IV”, built by Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. Model details include expertly planked mahogany deck and built up cabins.  Six detailed launches and lifeboats hang from davits.  Other details include ventilator cowls, winch, deck plates, pennants, passenger benches, wood capped deck rails, binnacle, engine order telegraphs, cleats, davits, etc… Mounted on turned brass columns into a finely inlaid free standing mahogany display case.

Exceptional four-foot model of the America's Cup Challenger Yacht "Britannia".  The hull is painted black above the waterline and gold below with a white boot stripe.  The planked basswood deck carries winches, skylights, anchors, companionway, tiller etc.

The model is gaff rigged with spars for a flying club sail as she was rigged for her participation in the America’s Cup Races in 1899. Dimensions 49"long x 6" wide x 49" high .  Late 20th Century.  Condition: excellent.

Outstanding builder's half model of the screw steamers Gogovale and Gretavale.  With original boxwood builder's plaque listing "Lithgows Limited, Shipbuilders, Glasgow 1927-1928.  Registered Dimensions:  385' x 52' x 26.6'".  Hundreds of gold plated fittings adorn the model which has a raised pilot house, cargo masts, with booms, awning frames, etc. Painted black over red.  Mounted to a front surfaced mirror into a display case with table.  Condition: end mirrors cracked, some rigging down.  Dimensions:  93" long x 12" wide x 56" high with table.

1914 log book from the schooner yacht "Chanticleer."  The book has a seller's stamp on the inside cover from Charles C. Hutchinson nautical instruments 152 State St. Boston Mass.  The log documents the yachts 1914 cruising season from the 23rd of May to September.  Cruising area was Bristol RI to Bar Harbor, being fond of Marblehead.  Also participated in the New York Yacht club cruise.  13 3/4 x 8 3/4. Condition: good.
